What a crazy awesome winter it has been over here at Morgan Ruth Photography. Seriously, not a dull moment at all! With 5 weddings between Jan. 1, I’ve been a machine getting end of the year paperwork prepped, designing all the gorgeous 2018 fall wedding albums, meeting with loads of brides, filling up my calendar, and editing and delivering all these fantastic weddings!
Family life has been just as busy! The kids have kept me constantly moving…cleaning…cooking…cooking…cooking..and hardly sleeping (#momlife)… Typically winter is a good time for me to chill for a bit, but I can’t say thats how this one went! The twins are wrapping up their last few months of Kindergarten and we have had the best time watching them blossom and grow academically. They recently turned 6 in March and had their first sleepover with all their friends, it brought back so many memories! Little brother turned 3 in February and is growing like a weed, he is like a little tornado and days at home with him are certainly never boring. He is so much fun and looking forward to starting school like his big sissies someday.
In March I got to head down to Indianapolis to document Dean and Madison’s big day. Fort Wayne is great and all, but there is something I love so much about shooting in Indianapolis, I’m sure its mostly because of the new scenery which is a huge breath of fresh air!
Dean and Madison’s wedding was jam packed with so many unique details and Pomp & Bloom just blew my mind bringing Madison’s vision to life. Madison wanted to bring a bit of nature into the industrial venue with touches of moss and other leafy greenery and pulled it all together with cinder blocks and rose gold accents. It came together so beautifully and was definitely the first time I ever thought a cinder block was pretty!
They say rain on your wedding day is good luck….and the amount of rain these two were given can only mean one thing. They are in for a lifetime of happiness, love, and good fortune.
Dean and Madison, you’re seriously two of the most fun people I’ve met. From watching you on your wedding day, I can tell you guys love life and I think you’re going to love it EVEN MORE with each other by your sides (and sweet baby Calvin, of course!).
