What an incredible day! Karl and Joanna had the most beautiful winter wedding here in Fort Wayne, IN. We have not received much snow in the past few years and I was so excited when not only did we have snow for their wedding but we had lots of ice....which made things a bit complicated but also gave us a gorgeous reflection on the streets for some night time shots! When it was time for their first look and portraits me, my assistant, and the videographer were literally scooting our feet across the pavement to get around, it was a hilarious sight for sure!

Karl really upped the bar for grooms, he is a perfect gentleman and it made my heart so darn happy seeing him and Joanna together. Their faces were plastered with the biggest smiles literally the entire day. But what got me was the way that he looks at her. You hear about it all the time but I did not realize that I hadn't REALLY seen it until their wedding. So much love, so much tenderness, so much .... there really just isn't a word grand enough to describe it! All I know is, Karl truly truly truly loves Joanna. And Joanna truly truly truly loves Karl.
