Brandon + Brittany - Fort Wayne, Indiana Wedding Photographer

It's finally here!! All winter long I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the 2017 wedding season!  Over the past few weeks I've been meeting with countless brides about their weddings and hearing their plans has me SO EXCITED!

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding celebration of Brandon and Brittany.  I've known Brittany since I was 5 years old...so basically my entire life.  When she reached out to me about photographing her big day my heart exploded.  My job is awesome and I would never trade it for the world.  I am so passionate about it and feel so blessed that I am lucky enough to be so in love with my career...but nothing is better than combining my love of photography with documenting a childhood friend's wedding day.

Brittany has always had impeccable style so I was really excited to see her dress and the details she had chosen to wear on her wedding day...I knew they would be chosen with such intention.  Her dress was just absolutely GORGEOUS!  The detailing and the lace were just the most perfect touch.  From the detailing on her dress, to the beading on her shoes, to the styling of her rings...Brittany's wedding day style had the most swoon worthy vintage flare.

We are so lucky here in Fort Wayne to have the beautiful Botanical Conservatory to photograph in.  We have had just the ugliest Spring here in Fort Wayne this year and unfortunately the weather was just not cooperating on Saturday but we were able to make the best of it!  Brandon and Brittany chose to write each other letters and read them just moments before their first look.  I know the anticipation was making them emotional!

The Baker Street Train Station is one of my most favorite venues in town.  Its not very often that I get to photograph a ceremony AND reception there which is unfortunate because it is so pretty!

One thing that I found really sweet at the reception was how Brittany danced with each of her brothers...each would hand her off to the next before she made her way to her father and then was handed into the arms of her new hubby...I've never seen this and it made me tear up.  I was such a statement of how all the men in her life supported her love for Brandon.

I LOVE when my couples ask me to stay until the end of their reception...I just have one requirement...we have to go big!  At the past few weddings we have had an awesome confetti toss and several sparkler exits.  I love getting the opportunity to shoot these!

Congratulations Brandon and Brittany.  I am so honored that you chose me to capture your day.  It was so beautiful in every way and your love for each other was radiating.  I'm so happy to see the incredible woman the little girl down the street has become and the love story she has been blessed with.  Best wishes to you both!!!

Much love,

Morgan
